Possibly the funniest video ever....

Watch it through the very end....

Am I terrible mommy for thinking this is funny? Cayson was quite okay... in fact, he kept reenacting it for me since I thought it was funny.

Our fun day!!!

Jaxon spent the day with us again today. I'm telling you Cayson LOVES him. The hardest part about having Jaxon over is trying to keep Cayson away from him. Cayson is VERY loving and EXTREMELY helpful if you know what I mean!
Cayson was smiling so big at Jaxon here.

And a video from the day...

I thought I had a 2nd video of Cayson pounding knuckles with Jaxon but I must have deleted it. He kept holding Jaxon's hand out so he could pound it. Too funny!

No More Monkeys Jumping on the Bed

6 Years Worth Celebrating

Dusty & I went away for the weekend to celebrate our anniversary. My parents were wonderful to keep Cayson for us.

We did a little shopping, ate a lot, relaxed, shopped some more, ate a lot more! That about sums it all up! We stayed at a hotel downtown and had a nice room overlooking Bricktown. It was a beautiful view.

We had dinner reservations at The Melting Pot - it was a fun experience! It was relaxing to just sit and enjoy the meal - it took 2 hours for our meal.

Our definite favorite was the chocolate fondue! It was HEAVENLY!!! I can't sing it's praises enough... don't you love this "attractive" picture? Ha ha! I'm keeping it real for you.

It is amazing how one weekend can be so refreshing!

Brave Men

I was planning on posting a happy post about our wonderful weekend, but after the events of today, I don't really feel like it. My heart is heavy tonight...Check Spelling

We took Cayson to visit the fire department this morning so he could look at all the fire trucks. He had a blast and we visited with some of the firemen on duty. I never imagined what the day would hold....

Dusty's fire pager went off shortly after we got home from the fire dept. visit. All firemen were paged to assist Hydro (a town about 7 miles away). Dusty is on call for the police dept so he couldn't go to the fire but he stayed behind to help run the radio and phones.

There was a fire in a grain elevator at the coop in Hydro. Four firemen & 1 EMT were injured and one fireman died saving the lives of the others. It's such a sad event... the fire chief from Hydro was killed trying to save his brother who had fallen into the elevator. His two brothers are both firefighters and were both injured and are hospitalized. This man's poor family. Not only did they lose him, but his two brothers are battling injuries. Another Hydro fireman was injured along with a Weatherford fireman. The injured Weatherford fireman was at the fire dept this morning when we were visiting so it really hits close. Dusty went and visited him at the hospital and he is going to be fine. Please pray for these brave men and their families.

Buddies

We had a little friend come over for a couple hours today - Baby Noah! Cayson loved and loved on the poor guy. He didn't know what to think of Cayson's affection!

New Shoes!!!

Kyle & Kourtney got Cayson a new pair of shoes! How sweet are they for thinking of him? The shoes are police style and light up when Cayson runs. He loves them!!! Cayson just loves Kourtney. He sat by her all evening with his arm draped around her shoulders. Isn't this hilarious? He kept pulling her closer and closer to him. Maybe he's a Ladies Man?

Cracking up!

As you can tell, he loves his new shoes!
Thanks, Kyle & Kourtney!!!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!

I had to share a few now & then pictures of Cayson in his St. Patrick's Day attire! I love this first picture - I think Cayson & Dusty look so much alike here.

Same shirt from last year! It still fits, barely.

I had to share this pic - this is his "Mom I'm tired of smiling" picture.

Gorgeous Weather Calls for Outdoor Play

We took Cayson to the park Monday afternoon to take advantage of the perfect spring weather. It was day one of spring break here so the park was a happening place. Cayson had a blast though he nearly got plowed over by the older kids.

He loves the train, of course.
Cayson tried out his "new" tricycle (Thanks, Aunt Robin & Uncle Bobby!)

We ran into our friend, Grayson. Cayson gave him a big hug!

We did a little bit of traveling this weekend and Dusty's lead foot got him into a little trouble... Luckily, he knew the trooper and got off with a written warning. It made for some good laughs!

We went to Carnegie on Saturday so Dusty could help work on his dad's chimney. Cayson had a blast running around Nana & PaPa's house and playing on the slide! The only pic I took was of Dusty working.
After church on Sunday, we went to Yukon for our niece, Lakin's, 5th birthday party. She had a Hello Kitty party and my mother-in-law made this adorable cake! I forgot my camera so I only took this one pic with my phone.

6 Years of True Love

Dusty & I celebrated our 6th anniversary on Sunday! 6 years of Fabulousness with many, many more to come!!! He brought me these beauties on Saturday - 6 for 6 years!

You can check out my anniversary present here. Dusty got a shot-gun for his anniversary gift. Romantic, huh?

Bedtime

Apparently Cayson didn't drift right to sleep when I layed him down last night. I went to check on him before I went to bed and found that he had piled everything on his pillow at the head of his crib.

Ultimate Cool

He still thinks he's too cool for school!

Our Unusual Monday

We had a bit of an interesting day today - I babysat a friend's 3 month old baby boy today. It made for a fun & interesting day. Cayson's reaction to the baby was definitely not what I had expected. I figured he'd be needy having to share his momma. Instead, he was thrilled to have Baby Jaxon around and showered him with affection. He was extremely helpful in the care taking of the baby. Cayson had to help feed Baby Jaxon. He thought he was so big!

Don't you love Jaxon's expression? I'm sure he felt this way every time Cayson showered him with hugs.

Can we make weekends longer?

The Jarnagin household had a fun & busy weekend! I just wish the weekend would have lasted a little longer! Saturday, my dear friend, Julee, came to visit along with her hubby, Josh, and newborn baby, Cade!!! It was so great to catch up and play with the boys.

Cayson, Me & Julee

Cayson decided to leave for this picture!

He loved Julee! He's holding Cade's monkey blanket which he thought was pretty neat. Cayson is very good at being a monkey!

Us with our boys!!!

Us with each other's boy.

Today we went to the city after Sunday School to do some quick shopping before going to our nephew's play. Jayce was in a student production of "Oz." It was so entertaining! Cayson sat enthralled by the show and music. He would roar like a lion and he loved the flying monkeys. Between scenes, he would sign and say "more." Did I mention that I got to go to Super Target? It was a very quick trip, but I was happy just to be there! :)
