Canna Festival & Birthday Celebrations

We made it to Carnegie last weekend for the annual Canna Festival. We missed the fair on Friday night due to rain, but we were still able to enjoy some of Nana & Papa’s biscuits & gravy and fun family time… oh, and a show coke… those of you from C-town know exactly what I’m talking about!

Dusty opened his birthday presents Friday night with a little help from Cayson.

Saturday morning was the Canna Parade. Baby Girl wasn’t being kind to me so I missed out on it. :(

Football Season is Here!!!

I do realize I am way behind on my blogging duties…. these pictures are from last Friday’s high school football game. Cayson had a blast cheering the team on! He wasn’t a fan of touchdowns though and cried every time.

He was excited to see the helicopter land and take off at the game.

I am going to post our trip pictures from St. Louis soon… one of these days. We are heading out this afternoon to the in-laws to enjoy the annual Canna Festival and birthday celebrations! Should be a fun weekend!

…for  a little R&R this week! Dusty and I are heading to St. Louis for a mini-getaway. Thanks to our wonderful parents who are keeping Cayson! I know we will miss him like crazy but we’re looking forward to some sleep-in time, shopping and baseball!

Baby News

Let’s see… updates on baby girl… I’m getting HUGE! I got one of those “You’ve got a long ways to go” comments in church on Sunday. Hello? I’m over halfway there! We’re sitting at 22 weeks, 2 days (every day counts when you’re pregnant).

I have a check-up tomorrow with my dr and on the 23rd I have an appointment with the perinatal specialist. There were some concerns with my ultrasound so I have to see the specialist for a Level 2 ultrasound. I was ordered to drink lots of fluids in the meantime which you know what that means when you’re pregnant… lots of bathroom breaks! I might as well invest in Charmin stock.

One good thing about our appointment with the specialist, we’ll get to see our baby again and in 3D! We’ll also get to double check the gender…. just in case.
