Summer Days…

… are for sidewalk chalk, digging in the dirt, playing with the garden hose, swimming, ice cream & slushes and so much more!

These pictures were taken Wednesday morning when in an hour and a half, we chalked, dug in the dirt, watered the garden before playing with the hose, and finished it off with a swim! That boy loves to play hard!

A little fishing…

We took the kids out to the pond Sunday afternoon before heading to church. The weather was gorgeous – minus the thunderstorms all around us. We took bread to feed the ducks but ended up feeding the fish instead… the perch were mighty happy campers!

We made up a little fishing pole so Cayson could pretend to fish… he loved it and has asked to go “fishing” again.

Baby-mama Day

I enjoyed a wonderful Mother’s Day with my sweet babies and darling hubby. I was showered with beautiful roses, a great card and a sewing machine! I know, crazy that I wanted a sewing machine but I am ecstatic!

My sweet babies that made me a mommy. Last Mother’s Day, I had just discovered earlier that week that I was pregnant with our precious girl… to think, a year later…

I was thinking I was a mommy of two in my heart last year. This year, I have them both in my arms! Thank you, Lord!

We had Sunday dinner at my parents’. Grandma had to hold Taryn the minute I walked in. She loves to hold babies!

Love the expression on Dad’s face while Taryn inserts fist in mouth.

Happy Easter!

I’m grateful we were able to celebrate Christ’s resurrection despite my broken foot and Dusty’s absence. My sweet family pitched in so we were still able to go to Easter service and enjoy family dinner at my Aunt Tammy’s. Cayson got to hunt Easter eggs with cousin, Brayden, and the boys had a blast! We had planned on going to Dusty’s family Easter but obviously changed our plans. We’re bummed we didn’t get to see everyone but are thankful that we still got to enjoy Easter!

My grandparents enjoyed loving on Miss Taryn! Don’t you love Grandpa’s face even though you can’t fully see it? He was smiling so big at his great-granddaughter!

Egg Hunt Time!

As you can see, Taryn shared the same enthusiasm as her brother. :)

For some unknown reason, Cayson felt the need to show everyone his belly at the hunt’s conclusion.

Beautiful Eggs!

We colored eggs on Saturday with Grandma. Cayson is very good at coloring eggs – Grandma, not so much. Just kidding, Mom!

Taryn’s first time “coloring eggs.” Can you tell she was excited?

Here comes the Easter Bunny…

Cayson made this at “school” on Monday and I thought it was an adorable craft!
