Taryn Sleeps at Pizza Hut

Taryn does occasionally slow down. She cracked us up by dozing while trying so hard to eat her pizza. These videos are so hilarious - you must watch! One was taken by Dusty and the other by my dad. Give it up for cell phone cameras!

Dizzy Girl

Taryn loves to do Ring Around the Rosie and often does it on her own. She cracks me up how she spins until she can barely stand up! She says the "ashes, ashes" part really well!

Giggle Box

Taryn was laughing at Cayson playing with a balloon… love this! It makes me smile every.single.time I watch it!

Counting to Ten

Some of you may have already seen this video from Facebook but thought I'd post it here anyway... along with my joke... Cayson will not say seven when counting... he skips right past it. I say he's scared of 7 since seven eight nine. Yes, I'll be here all week. :)

A new batting stance

Apparently, watching baseball on tv with Daddy has taught Cayson a new batting stance.

Blackmail video

Just so you know - his daddy took this video. I'm innocent. I probably won't leave this video up long in case some weirdos are looking at my blog.

How tall is Cayson?

On a side note, Cayson did go to the pediatrician on Thursday for his 2 year check up. He weighed in at 33 lbs and was 37" tall. He's in the 96th percentile for height and the 99th for weight. Our growing boy!

Rollin', Rollin', Rollin'

These videos are a few weeks old but I thought they were fun!

Possibly the funniest video ever....

Watch it through the very end....

Am I terrible mommy for thinking this is funny? Cayson was quite okay... in fact, he kept reenacting it for me since I thought it was funny.

Goldfish aka Jaws

I hope you'll forgive me for all the videos. I've found that videos can capture so much more than pictures and my narration.

Cayson & Dusty have a game they play with the Goldfish and I attempted to capture it... hopefully, I can get a better video of it. Everytime, I got the camera out, Cayson would quit!

Big Boy - Baby Toy

A friend who was borrowing our walker brought it back on Sunday. Cayson thinks it's the greatest thing! It's like a new toy to him. I told Dusty that the reason there are so many injuries is because parents let their toddlers play with them after they've outgrown them. Rest assured we are putting this in the attic and won't let Cayson get hurt!

My Ballers :)

This is Cayson & Dusty's new game - Cayson would play it all day long if at all possible.

He thinks it's hilarious when Dusty says "brick." He just dies giggling... and I nearly pee my pants laughing at Cayson. Between him & Dusty, I'm constantly laughing.

Video time

Here are a few videos I shot of Cayson yesterday morning. I was trying to get him to tell me his age - which he finally complied in the last video! He holds up two fingers crossed and says, "Two." Guess he's ahead of the game since he doesn't turn two until April!
The word "no" has become a vital part of his daily vocabulary. Most of the time he says 'no' with a sweet voice and alters the inflection and tone each time he says it - kind of sing song. As you'll see in these videos, he wasn't exactly being sweet... but I guess he does have an excuse - being very sick!

Check out the vocals on this kid!

I finally captured him "singing" today. It's music to my ears... makes me smile from ear to ear.
I can't help that I love this boy!

P.S. Like his microphone?

Limes & Basketball

We had a treat Friday night - dinner at Downtown Diner! Cayson's favorite part?
Stealing our lime & orange slices from our water glasses!

After a delish dinner, we went to the high school basketball game. Cayson enjoyed every minute of it! He danced, danced, danced and cheered for the home team!

I tried to get a decent picture of him, but he was too active. All of my pictures of of the back or side of his head!
