My poor little sick boy....

Cayson came down with a cold Saturday night/Sunday morning. He woke up Sunday morning with a sneeze and runny nose. He just had the sick look on his face - his eyes were puffy and red rimmed. Last night was tough because he was congested and had problems sleeping... we did everything we could for him - prop up his mattress, sat in the bathroom with the shower on hot so he could breathe in the steam, saline spray, humidifier, and finally Dusty made a late night run to Walmart to get Vicks Baby Vapor Rub and it worked! Cayson slept well and actually slept till 9 am. He is still quite pitiful. It is kind of nice because he just lets us cuddle him all the time. He just sits in our laps and sucks his thumb.

One sad thing that happened last night - he woke up crying so I went into his room and he was sitting up with his hands on the rails (he always stands up when we wakes up - never just sits) and he was crying, "Momma, momma, momma." It was the most pitiful thing ever!

Please say a prayer that he gets better soon. I know we will deal with lots of colds and sickness but it is still hard.
