We had such a great weekend!!! Maybe my 3 step program is working because I have no pictures to post with this post. We spent Friday & Saturday afternoons playing in Cayson's wading pool. He is really enjoying the pool... and the water hose! I enjoy catching the sun rays and reading some of my books that have been waiting patiently since last summer.
Papa and Nana stopped by Saturday afternoon. Cayson was busy pointing out all his things while they were here. When we have company, he tends to get excited and pull out all of his toys to show everyone.
Saturday evening, Dusty went to work at 10 pm. He called me at 10:07 pm to let me know there was a bad storm north of us that the National Weather Service said could produce a tornado at any minute and he was going north to storm spot. That got me in a tizzy and I got things together in case we needed to go to a shelter. I listened to the scanner, TV, and called Dusty frequently. It ended up producing up to baseball size hail, but it didn't hit our side of town. Thank you, God! We drove out to the car dealerships on Sunday to see the damage. It was so crazy. Most of the cars had shattered windows and the bodies were dented beyond repair.
Sunday evening we had fellowship get-together with our Sunday School class. It was a great time. Cayson was quite amazed by all the kids... there were kids everywhere. He kiss his first "girlfriend." When we were leaving, he kissed our friends' daughter, Hudson, goodbye. She puckered up for him too! It was so cute. She's 2 and kept trying to get Cayson to play with her. He held back some and Dusty turned into her favorite toy.
Tomorrow is Dusty's first church softball game, so I am sure we will have pictures of that!
I miss those church baseball nights.
