Cayson the Cutie

I thought I'd post about some of Cayson's newest and latest..

He's figured out that we always pray before meals, so he will fold his hands and bow his head because he thinks if we pray, we can eat something. It doesn't really matter where we are either... playing outside, changing his diaper, etc. It's so funny how he connects the dots - prayer=food.

He loves to jump! He jumps high and lands straight on his bottom. It looks painful, but he laughs and does it over and over again.

He is Mickey Mouse crazy! He can spot Mickey Mouse products from a mile away in stores and then he wants it. It can make shopping a little stressful as he wants every little thing that has Mickey on it - some are things he already has at home!

He can say I love you. One of the sweetest things for this mommy to hear!

He really likes to color and do "art" projects. He's getting good at scribbling, and occasionally, we find his scribbles on important papers. :) I have to keep all pens, pencils & crayons out of his reach.

He loves church. He says "church!" Church sounds like a chirp though. He spots the steeple when we go and gets so excited. He loves playing with his friends in nursery.

He has a stick he always plays with outside... he has spent an hour playing with this stick. He plays in the gravel and grass with it, he hits the concrete with it, he bangs the metal fence posts with it, the possibilities are endless. I've decided that playing with rocks & sticks is definitely a boy thing.

One not so boy thing, he hates to touch grass (this has been the case since he was a baby). When he falls down, he lays on his belly holding his hands above his head so they don't get grass on them. He waits there until we pick him up. He won't put his hands down on the grass to get up himself. That's a little of his mommy in him!

In order to watch Mickey Mouse, Cayson must gather every item with Micke on it and have it in a pile... his stuffed Minnie & Mickey Mouses, his MM blanket, his MM beanbag chair and a wipes box that has MM on it. Sometimes all of this ends up piled on one of our laps - even the beanbag chair. And THEN, Cayson wants to sist on our lap along with everything else!
