Welcome to 2009!!!!

For the first time in many years, we were actually able to celebrate the new year. Dusty usually has to work, but this year schedule roulette had him off. He was on call but luckily wasn't called out (a miracle in itself!).

My parents were sweet to keep Cayson for us so we could attend a party at our friends' house. They threw a 70's Rock Band party. It was so fun and crazy! Everyone came in true 70's garb and it was hilarious! Dusty & I didn't dress the part since he was on call. Don't think it would look too good to have a cop show up in hippie style. :) I played Rock Band for the first time - it was interesting to say the least... since I have no musical talent, no rhythm and absolutely no singing talent. Obviously, my team did not win the coveted trophy. The host couple - Nathan & Kyla
