This is Cayson & Dusty's new game - Cayson would play it all day long if at all possible.

He thinks it's hilarious when Dusty says "brick." He just dies giggling... and I nearly pee my pants laughing at Cayson. Between him & Dusty, I'm constantly laughing.

Here are a few videos I shot of Cayson yesterday morning. I was trying to get him to tell me his age - which he finally complied in the last video! He holds up two fingers crossed and says, "Two." Guess he's ahead of the game since he doesn't turn two until April!
The word "no" has become a vital part of his daily vocabulary. Most of the time he says 'no' with a sweet voice and alters the inflection and tone each time he says it - kind of sing song. As you'll see in these videos, he wasn't exactly being sweet... but I guess he does have an excuse - being very sick!

Bronchitis

I still have a very sick kid! Boo! It definitely hasn't been fun for any of us. Very little sleep is happening in the Jarnagin household at the moment. Here are some pictures of our sweet boy eating his ice - he LOVES ice!

My Valentine's Day Present!

On a sad note, our sweet little boy is still sick! We are taking him to the pediatrician this afternoon so hopefully, we can get him on some medicine to get him better. I know he is ready to be well.

Valentine's Day Fun

Even though Cayson was sick for Valentine's Day (for the 2nd year). He still had some fun and is enjoying his great gifts.

Nana & Papa stopped by on Wednesday to bring by Cayson's Valentine.

I am hoping Cayson is on the mend. He is still coughing like crazy and not feeling 100%.

Piles, piles, piles everywhere!

Here are a few pictures from last week - as you know, Cayson is into piling things. He wanted to pile everything on Dusty and then crawl on top. Then he wanted Dusty to pile everything on top of him....

...then he wanted Dusty to sit on top of him... such a silly kid!
After his nap, I found that he had piled everything in his crib so he could prop himself on it.

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

Our Valentine's Day was disrupted a bit... Cayson is once again, sick, sick, sick. I was up most of the night with him and it was not fun. Hopefully, he will get better quickly. This sick stuff is getting old!

Limes & Basketball

We had a treat Friday night - dinner at Downtown Diner! Cayson's favorite part?

After a delish dinner, we went to the high school basketball game. Cayson enjoyed every minute of it! He danced, danced, danced and cheered for the home team!

Cayson was scheduled it get his hair cut on Wednesday - until he got sick! I will be calling ASAP Tuesday morning to try to get him in! It's driving me nuts!

Because I'm bored....

This is just an example of Cayson ordering Dusty around. :) When Cayson says, "jump!" Dusty jumps high!

Cayson was actually drumming away on the sherbet container and singing so sweetly. When I pulled out the camera, he stopped. Stinker!!!

What a change 24 hours can make!

Things have been interesting around our house... yesterday was a fun day - we went to our church's Family Life Center to walk and play basketball yesterday morning. Cayson had a blast running around and playing with a basketball. He got to burn all of his energy!


Last night, we went to the WHS vs Clinton basketball game. Dusty had to work security at the game so Cayson & I went to watch the game. It was fun - we got to see our aunts and Keith & Rebecca. Cayson and I left early so he could go to bed - he was so tired! Dusty got home around 10ish and then his fire pager went off at 11 pm. There was a structure fire at a local Mexican restaurant. I finally drifted off to sleep while my honey was out battling a fire. He didn't make it home until 4 am!

Then, this morning, Cayson kept crying in his sleep so we were up and down. He finally woke up around 8:45 - that is sleeping in for Cayson! He ate all of his morning banana and drank quite a bit of his milk but wouldn't touch his bran muffins. Ah, then it all made a second appearance on his high chair tray. Fun, fun. So, our little boy is super sick. He's been laying on the love seat all morning. He's watching Mickey Mouse and napping and hasn't done anything else. Poor little guy. I am praying that Dusty & I don't get it!
