Our Monet
As you can see, we spent some time outside breaking in the sidewalk chalk. Cayson thought he had to put his scribbles on every foot of sidewalk. :)
Is it bad that we used the neighbor house’s sidewalk instead of our own?
Silly Boy
- The other morning he had a baby wipe and wiped his nose and two of his stuffed animals noses before wiping mine. It was so cute!
- He can clearly say "All done" when he is finished eating.
- He calls Uncle Greg "Grrrr" as in a growl. I was trying to get him to say Uncle Greg and instead he growls. It cracks me up! Yet the other day, he pointed to Uncle Greg's truck and clearly said "Greg."
- He started singing "Deep & Wide" in the grocery store the other day. It was so sweet to hear him singing and doing the motions on his own.
- When we mention anything about money, Cayson points to the palm of his hand and starts oinking - telling us he wants money for his piggy bank. Yeah, he's learned early.
- Cayson frequently talks on his "cell phone" aka his palm. He walks around jabbering and talking to Dad all the time.
- As shown in a previous video, Cayson LOVES to get s"tuck". He will slide his feet under the sofa and yell, "Tuck!!!" I think he just likes the attention when we come to see what's going on.
- He has started singing "Hot dog, hot dog" with Mickey Mouse. A video of that to come soon. It's hilarious!
- He's started mimicking me when we go down to my parents' house to take care of Ace & Josie. He talks in a high pitch voice to the animals saying "Hi Ace! Hi Josie!" It's this super high pitch voice - apparently that's what I do. Lol.
- He is so observant! He notices if the moon is out during the day. He spots police cars long before Dusty or I. It amazes me how observant and smart this little 2 year old is!
I know I have lots more but that is all I can think of at the moment. He seriously keeps me laughing all day long... between him & Dusty, things are never serious around here!

When you have beautiful weather…
…you have to have a picnic!!!!
The weather was so gorgeous today. After church, we quickly made a picnic lunch for our backyard. Cayson thought it was great to walk around the yard snacking on his cookie. A special privilege. :)
He’s been practicing his tee-ball skills with Daddy. Looks like we have a slugger on our hands.

How tall is Cayson?
On a side note, Cayson did go to the pediatrician on Thursday for his 2 year check up. He weighed in at 33 lbs and was 37" tall. He's in the 96th percentile for height and the 99th for weight. Our growing boy!

I’m the luckiest momma and other excerpts from our weekend
We headed to the city after Derek’s graduation party. We had reservations at a lux hotel, plans for relaxing, eating good, and enjoy baseball! What an amazing Mother’s Day weekend for this lucky blessed momma.
My two favorite guys before we ate at Toby Keith’s. Yum, yum! We sat outdoors to enjoy the view of the canal. So fun!
Dusty & his brother, Greg, headed to the Bedlam Baseball game Saturday night while Cayson and I enjoyed the hotel room and beautiful view.
Right behind home plate!
Cayson loved watching for boats from the hotel window.
Happy Mother’s Day! Me and my baby!
The ducks were practically stalking us begging for food. I wish I had something to feed them!
We spent Mother’s Day walking around Bricktown in the morning before doing a little shopping for Momma and eating at Carino’s. Then we headed back to Bricktown to go to the Bedlam Baseball game.
Cayson’s 1st baseball game!
Sleepy boy
After this picture, Cayson promptly feel deep asleep. We were a few rows right behind home plate and he slept through all the ruckus, rain, etc.
Thank you, Dusty, for a fabulous weekend!!!! I love you!!!!
A Peek at Our Saturday
We attended SWOSU graduation despite the cool dreary weather.
Stephen graduated!!!!
Cayson fell asleep on the drive across town to Derek’s party.
