Our little man turned the big 3 on Wednesday. Part of me can’t believe 3 years has already flown by and the other part of me feels like Cayson has been part of our life for ever. We are so blessed to have such a sweet, kind hearted boy.
Birthday morning he found a new art easel with his presents. He was excited about the butterfly net – he enthusiastically ran around the house ‘catching’ butterflies.
Miss T watched brother open his presents.
His big present – a bike and helmet!
We let him pick his birthday breakfast, and he chose Downtown Diner where he dined on waffles!
After breakfast, he promptly asked to ride his new bike. He loves the helmet…as in, he wants to wear it 24-7. As soon as he wakes up, he wants to put it on, he wants to wear it to run errands, and plays in it. I do draw the line on wearing it out and about though Dusty did let him wear it to get his hair cut
Miss T did not want to be shown up so she decided to find her feet on Cayson’s birthday. She is loving playing with her feet!
We asked Cayson what he wanted for his birthday lunch and he replied, “peanut butter sandwich.” We convinced him to go out to eat and he chose Taco Mayo. On our way there, he said, “Actually, Casa Soto is my favorite,” so we turned around and hit up Casa. For supper, we indulged him in a peanut butter sandwich and gave him candles in it… oh yeah, redneck birthday cake.
Happy Birthday, my sweet firstborn. Mommy & Daddy love you so much!
