Zoo Crew

We hit the Oklahoma City Zoo on Monday for our 3rd annual spring trip. This was Taryn’s first zoo visit… needless to say, she was pretty uninterested in the sites.

 

The new Children’s Zoo was awesome! I loved the river that you could walk through.

Cayson LOVED the tram ride… he’s still wearing his arm band. I haven’t had the heart to cut it off yet.

We enjoyed a picnic lunch in the parking lot. Thankfully, they have these picnic tables to make things easy.

This was the extent of the elephants at the zoo since our’s are currently in Tulsa until the new Asia section is finished.

The chimpanzees were a hoot. Wrestling and hitting the glass. Cayson was a bit taken back by them.

There was a little baby chimpanzee that was soooo adorable.

Cayson had such a great time – he keeps asking me when we are going back. On our way home, we stopped to get gas and he said, “We get gas and then go back to the zoo?” He was not happy with my answer of no. “Yes, we need to get gas and go to the zoo!!!” I’d call that success when he had that much fun!
