Dusty just switched shifts this month... his new days off are Sunday and Mondays. It will be nice to have him around all day on Sundays! He will be working a combination of evenings & days. This is one of his least favorite shifts. He dislikes working evenings.
Cayson is growing up so fast and learning so many things. He is always surprising us with new words he randomly says. He also has his own little language that only we can understand - weird words that actually mean something. I also think Cayson might be going through a growing spurt - he is eating us out of the house!!! Saturday evening he ate two boxes of raisins, a banana, Goldfish, cheese breadsticks and peaches - he cried when I told him he was done.
We had a good weekend - we are nearly sickness free. I still have what seems to be a lingering sinus infection. We went to some of the high school regional basketball games and also went to a surprise birthday party for my cousin. Cayson had a blast at the party because there were lots of kids to play with. My aunt & uncle's house has lots of stairs which Cayson enjoyed going up & down and hiding under. I forgot my camera. Boo!
We were finally able to attend church after weeks of sickness. We really enjoyed the fellowship and worship.
I talked my sweet husband into helping me paint the dining room today! We've been wanting to paint it ever since we moved in (6 years ago!). The painting really translated into Dusty doing most of the work. He did a great job and I love the fresh and bright color! I'll post pictures on my vintagechichome blog once we get everything put back together.
