4th of July Weekend: Part 1

We had a fairly uneventful 4th of July this year. We missed out on the Jarnagin Independence Extravaganza that Dusty’s parents throw every year. :( It just didn’t work with Dusty’s schedule and my sickness to head down there.

We experienced an unusually wet 4th of July- we were able to go outside to do a few sparklers. This was Cayson’s initial reaction….

When the 1st sparkler went out, in the middle of tears, Cayson asked for “More, more, more.” So, he did warm up to the sparklers and enjoyed them. IMG_5375

Cayson kept telling me that Justice was “so big!”

After dinner, we came home to clean up and then went and parked to watch the fireworks from our car. Cayson LOVED the fireworks. I wish I would have gotten a good audio clip of his oohs, ahhs, Wows, and “Look, Da!” I really enjoyed his wonderment!
