Fabric Finds

IMG_8869I was a little surprised when I stopped by our local thrift store the other afternoon to find they carry loads and loads of fabric. Like awesome fabrics and it’s CHEAP! I think it’s all priced at .45/yard. I loaded up on all kinds of odds & ends including some vintage Christmas fabric, a red & black tartan plaid, white felt and an awesome turquoise fabric. They had loads of white muslin so now I know where to go when I need some white fabric!

Also, the fabric is labeled with the dimensions so you know how much you are getting. Nice.

    Ok, so I love how crafty you are! I want to learn how to sew and I love making my own things therefore I think Nick is going to buy me a small sewing machine! Did you know how to sew before you got one? You might have to give me some tips to get started.
