Last week, we had a fun splash pad play date with some of our friends. It was nice for the kids to get their energy out early in the day - before the scorching heat set in. It was nice for the moms to chat while the kids stayed cool and played hard.
It took Taryn quite awhile to warm up to the concept of the splash pad. Eventually, she crawled out of my lap and splashed in the puddles behind our chairs. Before long, she was gleefully playing in the water with her girlfriends.

This picture cracks me up. Gracelyn wanted me to take a picture of her and Taryn so badly yet I could not get Taryn to stand still next to her. Gracelyn is cheesing away so cutely!
